This 1968 vintage of hand-harvested Baco was distilled by Jean-Francois Cames on the old still at Clos du Moutouguet. Since then, it has matured in the ancient Baron de Sigognac cellar, which features one metre thick walls partially built in the 12th century. After maturing to its full potential for 41 years in Limousin oak, it was transferred to demi-john in 2009 for an additional 15 years before being bottled at natural strength.
Nose: Kopiko coffee candy, orange blossom, white chocolate, salted caramel, and nori.
Taste: Tropical fruits, guava, papaya, green bananas, followed fig & dark chocolate.
Finish: Mocha, berries and quince tea.
43.4% ABV (Natural Strength) • Non-chill filtered • Natural colour
Limited to only 61 bottles at 500ml
